NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS: JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS VS. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS and NY GIANTS VS. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

The Kansas City Chiefs, after getting a week off to rest, face the Jacksonville Jaguars who pulled off an incredible come-back after being being over 20 points behind the LA Chargers. The Chiefs are 8 1/2 point favorites…but better be careful!

The Philadelphia Eagles have also been resting, but face a familiar rival in the NY Giants. This is the third time these two teams meet this season. The Eagles are 7 1/2 point favorites. Can the Giants pull off another upset like they one they achieved last week over the Minnesota Vikings? Who do you think will win these games?

Todd, you’re right. Malicious WORDPRESS posted a number reviews that I’ve been working on. Why this software continues to torment me is befuddling…and annoying!

OK, fixed, so you can ignore my email.

Sadly, I think it will be too high a hill for the Giants to climb, unless… well, we’ll see. How hurt is Hurts? (sorry)( Can their defense step up and do a (much) better job this time. Can Barkley run on the Eagles. Can the line keep the Eagles off Daniel Jones.

I don’t see the Jaguars winning, but…the Chiefs are inexplicable to me sometimes. They should be so much better than they look for long stretches. And if Trevor Lawrence gets on a roll, who knows?

Both point spreads encourage better on the underdogs, but I never bet.

Jeff, I never bet either. But the Smart Money (aka, ESPN shills for DraftKings and FanDuel) advises taking the points in both games. The latest report from Eagles watchers says Hurts has been given ZERO running plays for today’s game. Since Hurts’s game was at least 50% running around, that’s a huge factor the Giants Defense can take advantage of.

In our house, both the Jaguars and the Giants are sentimental favorites, but I’m not sure either team has enough in the tank to pull off a victory. Still, if I were a betting women (which, except for an occasional flutter at the races or $20 on video poker at the casino, I’m not), I’d take both teams to beat the spread.

    Is this your revenge, George?
WP won’t accept my comments, I’ll try again.
Interesting to see what’s waiting for us.
George, keep up the good work!

Wolf, WORDPRESS has been acting wacky for the past couple of weeks. It has been releasing my draft posts at random and then messing with comments! I need an exorcist to drive this Demon away!
