The 9-2 Buffalo Bills are on a well deserved Bye this week. But Week 12 started out with a bang with the 2-8 Cleveland Browns defeating the 8-2 Pittsburgh Steelers in the snow! And the Giants and Daniel Jones broke up. What surprises do today’s games hold for us? How will your favorite NFL team perform today?
I can but hope the 5-5 Seahawks can pull out a win against division rivals the hated Cardinals! I may not see it as it’s my granddaughter Sofia’s 14th birthday and she wants to hit the buffet to celebrate!
Jeff M.: Have you heard anything from or about Dorothy?
Bob, I’m surprised the Cardinals are doing so well. I picked the Seahawks to win their division before the season started.
Not a word. I wonder about her once in a while, but only silence.
Getting rid of Daniel Jones is just the tip of the iceberg for what the Giants need to get done. Getting rid of Odell Beckham, Jr. and later Saquon Barkley? Horrible blunders, especially when they kept Jones and made him their “franchise” player. It is not all his fault, as he didn’t have the protection he needed, but he was a bad choice from the start and they are going to have to start all over again, probably with a new coach and general manager.
As for today, the Tampa Bay Bucs are not a great team at 4-6, but the Giants make them look like one. Tommy (Cutlets!) DeVito is not the answer.
Jeff, I agree with your assessment on the state of the Giants. If you don’t have a good QB in the NFL, you’re cooked.
I told you the Giants would make the Bucs look good!
Jeff, the Giants are now in the NFL Draft mode. They should just lose the rest of their games and get a prime pick.
After two wins in a row—and just as they were getting some much needed momentum—the Saints have a bye week. I’m hoping it will give all the players some time to rest and heal up. Amazingly, even at 4-7, the Saints still have a chance at a post-season berth because the NFC South as a whole is so crappy.
Deb, I remember years when some division leaders had losing records…and still made the Playoffs.
The Seahawks won, probably because I could only see the final few minutes!
Bob, the Seahawks can win their division if they can stay healthy!!
