NFL WEEK 13

The Buffalo Bills take on the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow night in Arizona. The 49ers are favored by 1 point. Meanwhile, as the Covid-19 numbers continue to rise, the NFL rejected the “bubble” strategy for the Playoffs that worked well for the NBA and MLB. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

The FIRST PLACE NEW YORK GIANTS (the one and only time that will be said, in all likelihood) lost their quarterback for at least this week, and are going to lose big today – the game in Seattle and their first place (unless the rest of the NFC East keeps pace). They’ve always had trouble in Seattle, and without Daniel Jones (not that he’s been great) and Saquon Barkley, they have to rely on their defense to do the heavy lifting. It is too much to ask today.

The 9-2 Saints (after winning a game against the Broncos last week that, in all fairness, should never have been played) journey to Atlanta to take on the 4-7 Falcons. The Falcons had an abysmal start to their season but then had a few games where it looked like they were righting the ship, but their play has been very inconsistent. Whether the Saints win their tenth game today may be dependent in part on which Falcons team decides to show up.

Deb, I agree with you on the Broncos game. No quarterbacks for Denver pretty much guaranteed a win for the Saints. But, that’s on the NFL, not on New Orleans. The Saints took care of business and I think they’ll take care of business against the Falcons today, too.

As long as the Packers, Saints, Chiefs and Rams win, I’ll be happy

Losses by the Chargers, Cowboys, Titans make me happy as well

I think it’s a shame that any games are played until this virus is under control, so I no longer watch other than the last few minutes of games I’m interested in

Maggie, we get the Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans game today. Bills fans will be rooting for the Bengals to pull an upset over the Dolphins.

The Jets’ defensive back had One Job, and that was to stay between the receiver and the end zone, and he bit on a double move. Like it mattered if the pattern was short.

Jeff, conspiracy theorists will claim the Jets lost to the Raiders on purpose to insure they get the Number One 2021 NFL Draft Pick.
