NFL WEEK 13

The Buffalo Bills–after their catastrophic 37-34 loss to the Eagles last week–are on a Bye. Just when you think things can’t get worse, Bills Defensive End Von Miller got arrested for allegedly kicking his pregnant girlfriend. The Bills need to get that Voodoo Curse lifted!

To have any chance at the Playoffs, the Bills need to win four of their five remaining games. It starts next Sunday at Kansas City when the Bills take on the Chiefs. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

Since the Seahawks lost to the lowly 3-6 Rams I haven’t had much hope for them, despite a decent showing against the hated 49ers!

The 5-6 Saints host the 8-3 Lions in the Super Dome today. The Saints’ play has been lethargic and full of unforced errors, so I’m sure the Lions will be taking full advantage of the Saints’ overall sloppiness and failure to execute even the most routine plays. I’ll have the game on, but I’m putting up Christmas decorations (I finished the den yesterday, now it’s time for the dining room and the tree), so I won’t be forced to watch every minute of what I’m sure will be another debacle (from a Saints fan’s perspective).

Deb, Diane and I will be putting ornaments on our Christmas Tree today, too. But, we’ll be watching the rain games in New England and New Jersey. The Lions lost on Thanksgiving so they might be primed for a high scoring game with the Saints!

Great! I guarantee the Giants will not lose! You can take that to the bank.

OK, you guessed it. Like the Bills, they have a bye. They still have two games left with the best team in the league – the Eagles – left, as well as a visit to the Superdome in a couple of weeks.

    *sigh*

The Niners started the Philly game as if constipated, -4 yards for the 1st quarter. Then something clicked and they reeled off 7 TDs in a row and blew the Eagles out of their own stadium. Looking good, as long as Purdy & McCaffrey stay intact.
