NFL WEEK TWO

The Buffalo Bills are resting after their dramatic win in Miami Thursday night. I still feel sad for Tua Tagovailoa and his potential career-ending concussion.

How will your favorite NFL perform today?

The less said the better. The pathetic Giants do have a chance to win today, in Washington, but if they can’t beat the whatjamacallits (Commanders?), the season is basically over and the coaching and other changes will begin. Not that they’re desperate or anything, of course. Frankly, though, even though they are playing a weak team, I’m not convinced Daniel Jones and the offensive line can win. I guess we’ll see. I won’t be watching.

Jeff, my hopes for the Giants sank when they signed Daniel Jones to that outrageous contract. And then, when they had the opportunity in the NFL Draft, passing on quality QBs. If you don’t have a good QB in the NFL, you can’t win.

After a surprising blowout victory last week against the Panthers, the Saints will undoubtedly get a blast of cold-water reality as they journey to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. Both teams had season-opening wins, but only one will emerge with a 2-0 record by this evening—and I’m not overly optimistic about the Saints’ chances.

Go, Saints! Nothing better than seeing the hated Cowboys lose big at home.

Now that the Giants lost a winnable game to go 0-2, their awful schedule kicks in and they are in deep doo doo.

Wow—the Saints didn’t let up. They’ve scored close to 100 points in just their first two games. I must admit to being both surprised and impressed.
