NFL WILD CARD WEEKEND: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS V. SF 49ers and LA CHARGERS VS. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Wild Card Weekend is aways fun with the prospects of upsets and surprises! The Seahawks managed to squeak into the Playoffs when the mighty Lions defeated the Packers on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field a week ago. But, the Seahawks are 10-point underdogs to the 49ers.

In what might be the closest matchup of the Wildcard Weekend, the Chargers are 1 1/2 point favorites over the surging Jaguars. Who do you think will win these games?

I’d be shocked if the 49ers lost, but “any given Sunday” blah blah. No, I don’t think it will happen. I can’t figure out the Jaguars. They look horrible, then they put a run of wins together. I c=haven’t seen the Chargers even once this year so don’t feel qualified to judge this one. I’m waiting for he Giants and Bills games on Sunday. Is it true that it is going to be in the 20s in Western NY?

Jeff, actually Sunday morning will be starting out about 19 degrees. But, by kickoff, the game time temperature should be 30 degrees! I’ll looking forward to the Giants vs. Vikings game, too!

I’m rooting for the niners. Of course, I don’t want the chargers to win, at least as long as they are owned by the horrible spanos family. But I don’t really give a flip about the jags I’m guessing we’ll be watching this afternoon. Will be avidly rooting for the Bills and Chiefs.

Maggie, the Chiefs will be resting this weekend waiting to see who they’ll play next week (probably the winner of Chargers vs. Jags). The Bills face a pesky Miami Dolphins team tomorrow.

I’ve been without a computer for two weeks! Thank goodness I had some heroin to wean me off the withdrawls!

As for football, I’d love to see the Seahawks trounce the hated 49ers but I’m not about to bet that way–if I betted! I’m pulling for the Bills and Chiefs and Giants!

Bob, the Seahawks put up a good fight in the First Half…but the 49ers took over in the Second Half. Glad to have you back with a new computer!
