PHILADELPHIA EAGLES VS. BUFFALO BILLS (FOX)

The 10-5 Philadelphia Eagles take on the 11-4 Buffalo Bills in a game missing motivation. The Eagles clinched the NFC East and may be tempted to “rest” some of their starters for the Playoffs. The Bills clinched a Playoff berth when Art Scott’s 49ers knocked off the Colts on Monday Night Football. The Bills still have a tiny statistical chance of winning the AFC East but that would require the New England Patriots losing to the NY Jets this week or the Miami Dolphins next week. Not likely. So the Bills might be “resting” starters, too. The Bills are 1 1/2 point favorites.

How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

The pathetically futile Giants have their toughest assignment today, when they put their 2-13 record and 9 game losing streak – and, more importantly, their #1 draft pick – on the line in Vegas against the equally futile Raiders, who have the same record and losing streak. Can they keep it going against a team so bad that the Giants are 3 point favorites on the road? Or will they throw away the top seed in a pathetic show of something?

Given past performance, I would not bet against the Giants winning this one.

After three surprising wins in a row, the 5-10 Saints journey to Tennessee to take on the 3-12 Titans. At this point, neither team is playing for much beyond pride and draft picks. Anyway, we’re off to the horse races today, so I won’t see the game until the highlight reel (such highlights as there might be).

I get a genuine double header today. Bills on Fox, then Niners v. Bears on NBC. No Red Zone necessary. Should be good games!

I only care about (very little) the chargers due to my admiration of Justin Herbert. I’m rooting for your Bills and Phillip Rivers and the colts

Maggie, the Colts have been eliminated from the Playoffs so they don’t have much to play for. The Bills clinched a Playoff berth so their motivation, like the Eagles, is slight.
