What do you give the Dad who has everything (including 30,000 books!)? Obviously, a new computer chair! Patrick and Katie assembled the Realspace PRO™ Quantum Mesh Mid-Back Task Chair in minutes and gave it to me for Father’s Day. The Realspace PRO chair is wonderful! Very comfortable. Great lumbar support. The mesh design keeps you cool. This chair sells for $299 at Office Depot, but they caught a sale so it only cost $249. Well worth it! If you’re looking for a new computer chair, give the Realspace PRO a sit. GRADE: A
Love the parquet floor!
Oh, and the chair looks good too!
Welcome to my creative environment, Deb. Love the chair!
I read that fast, as “Tush” Chair! Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Nice. Mine looks like that but doesn’t have the cool mesh. Otherwise it looks a lot like where I’m sitting at the moment! The windows are off to the left by Jackie’s desk, and we have small rugs under the chairs to protect the floor, but otherwise identical!
Anyway, nice present.
I spend hours at the computer each day (my online students are taking their FINAL EXAM as I’m writing this) so a good computer chair is essential, Jeff. I love your “Tush” Chair Freudian slip!
Must make you feel like a starship commander when you’re sitting in it!
Bill, when I’m sitting in the Realspace PRO chair, I feel like saying, “Warp Factor Six!”
Sure beats a tie.
Patrick and Katie came up with the perfect Dad’s Day gift, Patti. Of course, they had some help from Diane.
It’s worse than that, he’s dead Jim!
*snork*
You are too funny, Jeff!
We got a new one a few months ago too, not the same, leather, no mesh, higher back… but it’s a nice one too and as you say when I spend a few hours a day sitting there I want a comfortable, ergonomic one. Say, George, with all that stuff under the computer desk, where do your legs go?
I find leather holds the heat, Rick, so I usually opt for fabric. But, this new mesh design is ideal! Stuff…what stuff?
…and as he pushes the “submit comment” button he mutters “Make it so.”
Obviously, you’re a “New Generation” Trekkie, Rick. Only Picard said those words.
You’ve still got 30,000 books? I thought you gave them away.
I did donate 30,000 books to SUNY at Buffalo, Drongo. But somehow the few books I kept bred in the dark and now I’m back up to 30,000 books again. Patti Abbott is going to tour my library of books next week.
Of course I am George. Picard is THE Star Trek captain. STNG was the best of all the versions, you won’t convince me otherwise. I stopped after a couple seasons of DS 9
Like you, I had trouble warming up to DS9, Rick. But, someday, when I acquire all of the DS9 DVDs, I’ll watch the entire series. As the years go by, I think it’s the underrated STAR TREK series. I’m on the fence about VOYAGER.
George, your wife must be a very understanding woman. Or just given up.
Diane is a very special woman, Drongo. And we have a deal: I don’t say anything about her clothing purchases and she doesn’t say much about my book, CD, and DVD purchases. That arrangement has worked for 31 years.
Who would want a chair that holds in the heat during a northern New York winter? I don’t want to brang about my big Father’s Day gift, but the next time I have corn on the cob I won’t have to hold the ear with my bare hands.
Phil gets a tie, I get a computer chair, and you get corn holders, Bob. It’s all good!
I don’t often LOL, but I thought Cap’n Bob’s comment about the corn holders was funny.
I’ve often thought that Cap’n Bob should pursue a second career of stand-up comedy after he retires, Drongo.
The Cap’n scores!
What a “corny” remark, Jeff!
Don’t get me wrong, I love the cob holders. I bought some years ago and they disappeared one at a time. Time for a new set.
I always enjoy practical gifts, Bob.
