SEATTLE SEAHAWKS VS. BUFFALO BILLS

The high-flying Seattle Seahawks (6-1) arrive in balmy Buffalo (game temperature in the 70s!) to take on the struggling Buffalo Bills (6-2). Last week, against the decimated New England Patriots, it took a fumble recovery (with 37 seconds left in the game!) by the hapless Bills Defense to prevent the Patriots from either tying or winning the game.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson gets my vote for NFL MVP. He’s clearly the best quarterback in the league. Wilson is a touchdown machine and with the brilliant wide receiver, DK Metcalf, the Seahawks lead the NFL in scoring. With the unusually warm November weather, conditions are perfect for a high-scoring game! The Seahawks are 3 point favorites, but I think they’ll beat the Bills by more than that. How will your favorite NFL team fare today?

After an ugly win (but a win!) last week, the 5-2 Saints journey to Tampa to take on the 6-2 Buccaneers. The Saints already beat the Bucs earlier this season—but that may have been because Tom Brady was still finding his sea legs with a new team. I think the Saints are going to have to bring their A++ game (especially on defense) if they expect the same result today!

Deb, the Saints Vs. Buccaneers is the Game of the Day! Plenty of speculation about how both teams will do in this track meet! I’m looking for a high-scoring affair.

What do you mean, isn’t the Giants-Washington game the game of the day? Ha! The Giants got their only win against Washington (when Ron Rivera tried a two point conversion rather than taking the tie and going to overtime), and are favorites today (at least in some quarters), but fumble prone Daniel Jones is just as likely to throw another one away. Let’s just say, I wouldn’t put money on these losers.

The Saints and (especially) the Bills are probably in for a tough time this week.

Jeff, the Bills will show the world that Global Warming is real today! At 70 degrees at game time (we were preparing for a blizzard on November 8, 2019!), the weather conditions are more like early September. Very little wind, so expect both teams to throw the ball today.

Jeff, I took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to start Big Orange (only took two pulls!). Snow will be here soon enough, but for now we’re enjoying the return to September weather!

At this moment your Bills are 17 up on the Saints, and just might win it. With the Niners having quickly veered into Disaster Season territory, I’ve adopted the Bills as my rooting interest hereafter. Now that I’ve had the Red Zone foisted on me (had to take it to keep TCM), I can follow their fortunes every week. Go Bills!

Art, glad to welcome you as a Bills fan! You picked a good time to leap onto the Bandwagon as the Bills defeated the Seahawks 44-34. Next week, the Arizona Cardinals!

Rick, I thought the Bills were going to lose to the Seahawks. The two interceptions and the two fumbles made all the difference in that game.
