I’ve only watched one episode of Star Wars: Tales of the Empire but what becomes apparent is violence and death are a big part of this series.
Star Wars: Tales of the Empire is an animated six-episode journey into the malevolent Galactic Empire. The tales are told by two warriors on divergent paths, set during different eras.
In the first episode, young Morgan Elsbeth loses her mother in a battle with Imperial battle droids. Morgan navigates the expanding Imperial worlds toward a path of vengeance for the murder of her mother. Meanwhile, former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly more dangerous galaxy.
The talented voice cast includes Diana Lee Inosanto (Morgan Elsbeth), Meredith Salenger (Barriss Offee), Rya Kihlstedt (Lyn aka Fourth Sister), Wing T. Chao (Wing), Lars Mikkelsen (Thrawn), Jason Isaacs (Grand Inquisitor), and Matthew Wood (General Grievous). GRADE: Incomplete, but trending towards a B
No Disney for me.
Patti, more people have Disney+ now that Disney bought HULU.
The Disney of my youth died a long time ago! I don’t recognize what they’ve become and I don’t like it! To hell with them and their bad cartoons! And get off of my lawn, you whippersnappers!
Bob, it’s all about the money.
If they were that interested in money they wouldn’t subscribe to woke ideologies! They’re hurting their reputation and turning off a lot of potential customers!
Bob, Disney+ is not the success Disney thought it would be. Your analysis might be correct.
Good cast, but I didn’t much like SW from the beginning, even if the remnants of Leigh Brackett’s script kept the second film from being as nothingy (if flashy) as the first. I’m finding the few recent ST works I’ve tried rather meh, and I rather liked most of the early STAR TREK items and series when they let me….
Todd, STAR WARS continues to draw audiences on Disney+, but some of the SW series are better than others.
