I am hoping to see that streaming at a theater here in late January. Although none of my friends like “newer” versions despite my lectures on the subject. Did Patrick like it?
Patrick reminds me of my times as a student and when I started my job.
First people would look at me – but when they saw my tests and heard me speaking “perfect” English an IT director said something like:
Here’s a great Beatle!
And they invited me as a consultant to accompany them to the USA – as a well paid worker! It worked out so good that we repeated it twicwe – each time two weeks visiting NYC, Washington DC, SF, Silicon Valley, LA, Dallas, Atlanta and even Boca Raton where the IBM PCs were designed and produced.
At the banks and IBM people would first look at me strangely but when discussions started, everything was ok.
Patrick is a good example of how things changed!
Fond memories!
“The name’s Kelley. Patrick Kelley.”
Deb, in GOOGLE-LAND, Patrick goes by “Patrick Gage Kelley.” Gage is Diane’s maiden name and Patrick’s middle name.
I thought that was a southern thing. My middle name is my mother’s maiden name.
Jeff, the “Gage” middle name idea was all Diane’s.
Family names have their place. I will be the last Earl (middle name) in four generations of our Mason line.
Todd, should we call you The Duke of Earl?
Reminds me of my younger days, and witty quips like, “It’s getting so you can’t tell the boys from the girls.”
Dan, long hair is making a comeback!
Attending, singing, or going after SMERSH?
Jerry, Patrick attended The Met’s new, controversial version of CARMEN. https://www.wsj.com/arts-culture/theater/carmen-review-metropolitan-opera-bizet-carrie-cracknell-000779e2

Patti, Patrick was not impressed with this updated version of CARMAN. Most of the reviewers weren’t impressed, either.
Looking good!
Jeff, I wish I had some of Patrick’s hair. Mine keeps retreating year after year…
As I recall he’s had that mop since puberty set in!
Bob, Patrick has had “enviable” hair all of his Life!

Wolf, many of us wish we had hair like Patrick’s! And you!
Patrick looks great but I gotta confess that I see more of Diane than George in him.
Beth, both Patrick and Katie are lucky they take after Diane! As my mother used to say: “They broke the mold when my son George showed up.”
I love Patrick’s hair. Why can’t I have hair like that?
Tracy, I think we all wish we had Patrick’s hair. Mine is vanishing…
