The Princess Bride is one of my favorite all-time movies. This 25th Anniversary Edition in Blu-ray includes plenty of goodies in addition to the dazzling movie. And TARGET is selling this version of The Princess Bride for $5.00. This is certainly the Bargain of the Week!

Easter Eggs
For once I agree; it’s a fine movie.
Congrats of the Bills win, too.
Bob, thanks for the congrats. The Bills have a much tougher game on Sunday against the improving Cleveland Browns. Glad you like THE PRINCESS BRIDE as much as I do. The Blu-ray version is gorgeous!
Wonderful book and a great movie – a postmodern family favourite that only seems to improve with age – great stuff, thanks George. 🙂
Sergio, THE PRINCESS BRIDE improves with each viewing. Love the book, love the movie!
I was a fan of the book long before the movie came out, having been tipped off to it in a publication known as DAPA-EM–ever heard of it?
Dan, I have very fond memories of DAPA-EM and your role in it! And, next week, I’ll be reviewing a new novel by “Daniel Boyd” who bears a startling resemblance to you.
25 years – inconceivable! We bought this a while back and watched it recently, enjoying it as much as we did the first time.
The offbeat casting – Andre the Giant, Wally Shawn – really helped too.
Jeff, I love Wally Shawn in everything he does. A greatly unappreciated actor! Our TARGET has a nice section of Blu-ray movies for $5. Some of their selection is dreck, but sometimes I find a gem like THE PRINCESS BRIDE.
Tried the book, gave it up. Didn’t bother with the film. This isn’t an Easter movie, is it? Why Easter Eggs? Congrats on Bills nice win.
Rick, you might want to give the film version of THE PRINCESS BRIDE a try. It’s a classic. Easter Eggs are fun all year around! The Bills face a much tougher opponent on Sunday: the 7-4 Cleveland Browns.
Wallace Shawn is almost always amusing, as on Eureka and The Good Wife, where he played a sinister role but played it in a subtly amusing way.
Jeff, I loved Wally Shawn’s performances on STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE. Brilliant!
George, I enjoy watching such films and I’m surprised that I haven’t seen this one.
Prashant, you are going to love THE PRINCESS BRIDE! The book and the movie are highly recommended!
THE PRINCESS BRIDE is also one of my favorite movies!
Lauren, I’ve probably seen THE PRINCESS BRIDE a dozen times. It keeps getting better each time!
