The 5-2 Buffalo Bills take on the 1-7 Washington Redskins. After being trounced by the Philadelphia Eagles 31-13, the Bills should be eager to resume their winning ways over an NFC East doormat. But, this is the NFL so the Bills better not play down to the quality of their opponent today. We’ll be watching the game in Airports today as we fly home from BOUCHERCON #50. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?
The 7-1 Saints have a bye week, so I’ll be able to watch some other games anxiety free. (We’re still bummed about Houston’s poor performance in the World Series, but onward to 2020!)
Though we’re not really baseball fans, we were rooting for the underdog Nats, so of course we are happy for them.
Rick, we were rooting for the Nats, too.
Deb, the Bye Week came at just the right time so Brees’s injury can heal more fully. Only the 49ers are undefeated!
The Giants will be perfect today. I guarantee they will not give up ANY points. Of course…you guessed it…they play the Cowboys on Monday night. I don’t see them winning, but you never know.
Great seeing George and Diane and the kids and everyone this week. A highlight was the Friday night Tribute to Bill Crider party organized by Bill’s daughter Angela and her husband Tom.
Jeff, I had forgotten many of those photos that were part of the slide show in Angela and Tom’s suite. You and Jackie were prominent in many of them. But I don’t remember when I was wearing SYRACUSE University gear! That was a long, long time ago.
Thus comes the end of a beautiful, cold, crisp Fall weekend here at home. The Seahawks, who have the toughest remaining schedule of any NFL team, play Tampa Bay at home. They should went, but we’ll see.
Glad those who went to Bouchercon had a good time.
Rick, the Buffalo Bills did what they needed to do today: win! And, the Patriots finally lost!
That’s win. Damn autocorrect.
As did the Seahawks, but damn, they need a kicker they can count on. There must be someone better out there.
Rick, can you recall a year when so many extra points and field goals have been missed? I can’t.
