Alex Smith, QB of the Kansas City Chiefs, has run for 500 yards this season. That surprising statistic might be the difference in the first Playoff game. The Chiefs are favored by 3 1/2 points. That sounds about right. In the second game, Andy Dalton (Bengals QB) is out with a fractured thumb. I’m guessing the Steelers will win this close game (they’re favored by 2 1/2 points). Who do you think will win?
I don’t mind either team winning the early game but of course I want to see the Bengals destroy the hated Stealers.
Bob, the Bengals have a terrible record in Playoff games. Maybe they can break the jinx tonight.
I’m hoping the Steelers lose but after Dalton went down, so went much of the Bengals’ hopes.
Jeff, if the Bengals can stop the Steelers’ running game, they have a shot at winning.
If the Texans can hold the Chiefs to 10 points, they might be able to win. It doesn’t seem likely, but I’d love to see it happen.
Bill, I think Alex Smith is the key to this game. If J. J. Watt can pressure him, sack him, and neutralize him, the Texas have a shot at winning.
I agree about Alex Smith He’s a local boy, went to Helix High as did Reggie Bush, think they graduated the same year. I agree that JJ Watt may be a game changer. I don’t really have any favorites today. I think the Steelers will probably win, as Dalton is out.
Maggie, I think Alex Smith is an underrated QB. J. J. Watt will need a Big Game to negate Smith’s performance.
I’d like to see KC win, though I’m not sure why. In the other game, I don’t much care. Forced to pick, I’d take the Bengals, just because I’m not big Roslenburger (sp) fan.
and now I get to type away. Do you all have to do this when you comment on my WordPress blog?
Rick, the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t won a Playoff game in 22 years. That’s one reason to root for them!
Well, the Texans were shut out! I won’t watch the Stealers play, but I’ll check the score from time to time!
Bob, the Bengals had an opportunity to defeat the Steelers, but they let it slip away.
