BALTIMORE RAVENS VS. BUFFALO BILLS (NBC)

The National Football League schedule makers decided to open the 2025 season with a blast: Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills. The Ravens are 1 1/2 point favorites according to Vegas. Back in January, the Bills beat the Ravens in a Playoff game, 27-25. I’m guessing the Ravens are motivated to avenge that game tonight.

I watched FIRST TAKE on Friday morning and all three commentators–Stephen A. Smith, Dan Orlovsky, and Ryan Clark–all proclaimed that the Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the NFL and will win the Super Bowl this year. We’ll find out just how close to Reality these predictions are. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

The Cardinals journey to the Big Easy to take on the Saints in the Super Dome. Rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler has his work cut out for him—especially as the Boys in Black & Gold looked lethargic through the pre-season.

I have to believe that the Giants will be better this year – they can’t be worse, right? – after a 3-0 preseason. They open n the road in Washington, so I guess we’ll see right away. At least the Daniel Jones era is over.

Jeff, the Giants will be better this season…but their division is a tough one. The NY TIMES picked the Ravens to win tonight over the Bills.

        Go, Bills!

Saw a car with a Bills bumper sticker a couple of days ago. We see a lot of them in Florida.

I’m watching the Red Zone now, so I guess that means football is actually back. Most startling bit of news is that there will be no more “bringing out the chains” to determine 1st down. When US Open tennis mens final gets going in a half hour or so I’ll switch to that. After lousy season for 49ers, not expecting much this year, but I’ll be watching the Bills this evening. Go Bills!

I don’t have a lot of faith in the Seahawks, but I’ll be rooting for them to destroy the hated 49ers tonight! I’d like to see the Bills win, too! Of course, my cheering for a team is their kiss of death! On the upside, I won $337 at the Queen yesterday!

Jeff, the Ravens played a masterful game…until the fumble and the End! I’m guessing the Ravens and the Bills will meet in the Playoffs!

The Seahawks would have had an exciting finish if their quarterback could have held on to the ball! The Bills surprised me, and it was a nailbiter in the fourth quarter!

Bob, the Bills surprised all of us! ESPN Analytics says that the Bills had a 1% of winning the name in the last 4 minutes…yet they did!

We watched it on the last night in NOLA. It was amazing. I especially loved that the kicker had traveled on a red eye to get there and was barely introduced to his teammates and pulled it off. It was the most exciting game I’ve seen in ages. Congratulations
