I’ve enjoyed Kenny G’s music for decades. Diane and I have seen Kenny G in concert three times. Only Elvis Presley’s Christmas album has sold more copies than Kenny G’s Christmas album, Miracles. Brazilian Nights is Kenny G’s new CD and I really like it. If you remember the popularity of Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66 in the Sixties, Brazilian Nights presents music in a similar musical style. If you’re looking for a pleasant, entertaining music CD, this is it. GRADE: A

I’m glad you’re enjoying this one, George. I got smooth-jazzed out in the 1990s, and rarely listen to any these days.
Rick, I still listen to Smooth Jazz. It controls my blood pressure.
Ditto. But I do love Sergio Mendes and Brasil ’66. In fact I listened to their original album (on DC of course) just before we left for Florida.
Jeff, I listen to Sergio Mendes and Brasil ’66 on a regular basis.
Yawn.
Agree with Bob. Smooth Jazz is to Jazz what easy listening is to Rock and Roll.
Steve, you and Bob are right. But sometimes some soothing music is just what the Doctor ordered.
