BUFFALO BILLS VS. BALTIMORE RAVENS

After the Buffalo Bills melted down in Miami, losing to the Dolphins 21-19, the injury list grew. The Bills face the prospect of playing the elusive Lamar Jackson of the Ravens with a depleted defensive line and a makeshift secondary. Despite their injury woes, the Bills are favored by 3 1/2 points. It looks like the Bills and the Ravens will be playing in the wind and rain remnants of Hurricane Ian today. How will your favorite NFL team fare today?

After apparently deciding that they only need to show up for the second half of their games, the hapless 1-2 Saints take on the 2-1 Vikings in the Super Dome today. I’ll probably start out watching the game, but if things quickly go south for the Saints (as they did last week), I’ll be channel-surfing for baseball games.

Deb, there’s a 100% chance of rain in Baltimore today along with 30 mph winds. Passing will be difficult so I expect Josh Allen and Larmar Jackson to be running…a lot!

I misspoke: the Saints-Vikings game is already on—the game is being played in London at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium. And the Vikings are already up 7-0. Still, I’m having nostalgia vibes because my uncle was a huge Spurs supporter.

As I have told you repeatedly, you will never go broke betting against the Giants, as long as Daniel Jones is quarterback. They are playing the Bears in a cold, wet, very windy Meadowlands at 1:00, so let’s see who can run the ball and not turn it over. If the Giants lose today it will be a long, cold season – again – starting next week against the Packers.

The Giants are actually winning at the moment but there is still a second half. And the game next week against Green Bay is in London, I just discovered.

I see the Bills pulled out the late win. The Giants shut the Bears down in the second half and won, thanks mainly to two Daniel Jones touchdown RUNS.

Jeff, the Giants are 3-1, but both Jones and Tyrod Taylor are hurt. That trip to London could be dicey without a healthy Quarterback!

We got the Bills game for the CBS early game, so I had a welcome respite from Red Zone. Great comeback win for the Bills!

Art, the Bills made up those 17 points and managed to win when the Ravens went for the TD on 4th down…and didn’t make it in the End Zone! Next week, the Steelers come to town.
