BUFFALO BILLS VS. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

BILLS CHIEFS 2015
The Buffalo Bills season all comes down to this game with Kansas City. The New York Times Playoff Simulator says that if the Bills win this game against the Chiefs, the Bills will have a 65% chance of making the Playoffs. But, if the Bills lose to the Chiefs today, the Bills Playoff chances plunge to 29%! Yikes! So this is a make-it-or-break-it game for the inconsistent Buffalo Bills. I’m hoping they’re “ON” today. How about your favorite NFL team? Where do they stand?

With the Cowboys and Eagles falling apart, the first place Giants only (only?) need to beat the Redskins again today (they had no trouble the first time around) to come close to wrapping up their weak division, but I doubt it will be easy. After all the Redskins are 4-1 at home. But a win would give them a virtual three game lead with the tiebreaker. And their remaining schedule is much tougher (Carolina at home 12/20 followed by the Vikings on the road) than the Redskins’, who play the Cowboys twice. (The Giants do also have the Dolphins, Eagles and Jets on the schedule.)

Eli just has to keep pushing for 60 minutes.

The 4-6 Saints limp toward the end of their season with a stop in Houston to take on the 5-5 Texans. I can’t say I have much hope for the boys in black-and-gold. Dysfunction in the ownership, dysfunction in the coaching staff, dysfunction on the field. Anyway, today is the first day of Advent and we have a big church event for later today with my husband and two of our daughters leading parts of the service, so much of the day will center around that.

Deb, a columnist in the Daily News suggested last week that the Jets should go after Drew Brees next year as both a stopgap and a mentor for whoever the next quarterback might be, much as Kurt Warner did for the Giants with Eli Manning.

good luck to the Bills, the chiefs are in our division.

the chargers seem to be going for the first round draft pick. I think they’re in a 3 way tie now for it.

The Giants’ chance goes to 74% if they win today, according to that Times thing, but even if they lose it is still over 50%, showing how weak the division is.

The Seahawks play the hated Stealers and must win to have a chance! The good news is they’re at home! The bad news is they are playing a team that’s not going to roll over as easily as the 49ers did last week!

Anent nothing, how did Sanchez end up quarterbacking another team?!

Bob, the Eagles were down to Sanchez or the Water Boy in that game against the Lions. Sanchez got the start. I think the Seahawks will emerge triumphant against the Steelers!

Sure am getting tired of typing all my info in each comment………………..

Rumore are Chip Kelly may have only one more year to turn the Eagles around or he’s gone.

Yet again, as in so many games in the week after the bye, the Giants are sleepwalking. When they need to step up and really show something they are giving another performance that plumbs the depths of ineptitude. If they don’t come back and win this game they should fire the coach and start over next year.

At least the Bills are still ahead.

Typing all the info in again…………

The Seahawks can win if the receivers can hang onto the ball (and Wilson can throw it to them instead of getting sacked). Dropped passes and sacks will spell doom. Giants look awful. Bills aren’t doing well either. What;s up with that?

I certainly didn’t expect the Chiefs to win this one, as they have a tendency to drop key games like this. Sorry for your team’s loss, George. If I had any faith the Chiefs could actually win a game if they made it to the playoffs, I would be more excited.

Carl, the Rex Ryan era with the Buffalo Bills has been disappointing so far. Too many lost games, penalties, blown Challenges, and inconsistency on Offense and Defense. The Chiefs deserve their win. They should sail into the Playoffs!
