BUFFALO BILLS VS. Las Vegas RAIDERS

The Buffalo Bills (3-0) travel to Vegas to take on the Raiders (2-1). The Bills are favored by 3 points. The Raiders are being investigated for breaking containment and exposing the team to the coronavirus. We’ll see how that turns out. What’s happening with your favorite NFL team today?

Lots of people will have a chance to watch the Bills today with the postponement of the Chiefs/Patriots game, which was going to be the primary game in the CBS late slot. Now the Bills/Raiders will go to about 2/3 of the country, with the newly-moved Colts/Bears going to the other third.

Watching the Bills game certainly seems the better choice for me than the Rams/Giants. Will you watch either of your early choices, Cleveland/Dallas or Tampa/Chargers?

Jeff, Diane and I have a painter coming to our home tomorrow to paint the inside of our garage. It was never done and Diane has wanted it painted for years, but other home projects took precedence. However, in order to paint the first half of the inside of the garage, we have to move all the “Stuff” to the opposite side of the garage. So, that’s what we’ll be during before the Bills-Raiders game. I’ll have the radio on to listen to the scores and the pre-game show. I loved it when Lamar said, “Kansas City is my kryptonite.”

Since the Jets played on Thursday, we have the Chargers hosting Tampa on CBS. I don’t know the second game, as New England/Kansas City is still listed on CBS. The Giants are on Fox.

If Jeff’s site is accurate, looks like we – and most of the country – will be getting the Bills @ Las Vegas.

        Go, Bills!

Jeff, I’m not as confident as I should be about this game. The Raiders usually give the Bills fits and then there’s the Vegas Factor.

I told you last week: unless something changes, assume the Giants will lose, and that definitely goes for today against the Rams in L.A.

Pathetic doesn’t begin to touch on how bad they are now. Only the even worse Jets stop them from being the worst team in New York.

Seahawks play in Miami. I don’t know enough about the Dolphins to estimate their chances. So far this year, the Seahawks are winning on high offense and shoddy defense. So who knows?

The 1-2 Saints journey to the Motor City to take on the 1-2 Lions. The Saints have seemed lethargic and disorganized so far this season. I think everyone’s playing with “covid brain.”

Deb, with the number of covid-19 cases increasing in the NFL the entire season is at risk. Plenty of Bills fans are concerned that young Buffalo Bills player may engage in “risky behavior” while in Vegas to play the Raiders.

I rarely get the Bills but if that’s going to be the primary late CBS game maybe I’ll get it. My onscreen cable guide is still showing the Pats/Chiefs, but cable guides aren’t good at doing updates.

Michael, the Buffalo Bills are rarely featured on CBS, FOX, or NBC. Looks like their game against the Raiders might be available for much of the country to watch. Hopefully, the Bills can rise to the occasion.

Rick, I just finished the latest Dresden Files mystery and I’ll be posting a review soon. I’m exhausted by all the battle scenes in this latest Jim Butcher novel!
