BUFFALO BILLS VS. MIAMI DOLPHINS

Last Sunday, Tua Tagovailoa, quarterback of the Miami Dolphins, threw for 469 years and six touchdowns to defeat Jeff Smith’s Baltimore Ravens 42-38.

The Buffalo Bills, 4 and 1/2 point favorites today in Miami, just announced they lost their All-Pro Safety, Micah Hyde, for the season with a neck injury. That’s not good news for a secondary that’s going to struggle to cover Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The number of injuries the Bills and other NFL teams are contending with after only two games is disconcerting. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

After last week’s embarrassing loss to the Bucs—marred by sloppy plays and unnecessary penalties—the 1-1 Saints journey to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers, who at 0-2 are possibly even more inept than the Saints. I expect today’s game to be won by the team that can make the fewest incomprehensible plays and incur the least amount of penalties resulting from macho posturing and inability to comprehend the basic rules of the game. I dare say by halftime I’ll be looking for a baseball game.

It’ll be great! I guarantee you, the Giants will NOT lose today!

OK, you guessed it, they are playing Monday night. And they are hosting the hated Cowboys. Neither bodes well for the home team, as they have an abysmal MNF record and have been losing the the Cowboys – even when they are eminently beatable – in recent years. Daniel Jones is just not the QB to lead them to the playoffs, let alone another Super Bowl, IMHO. So will they beat the Cowboys? Probably not. But I will be hoping they do, and it could happen.

Jeff, I heard some ESPN “experts” talking about Daniel Jones being in the last year of his contract. I suspect the Giants might want to move on…
