BUFFALO BILLS VS. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (CBS)

The 9-4 Buffalo Bills, favored by 1 1/2 points, take on the 11-2 New England Patriots in Foxboro. If the Patriots win, they will became AFC East Champions. The Bills have won the AFC East five years in a row, but that looks like it’s coming to an end. Last week, the Bills played great in the snow game against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, winning 39-34. I don’t see a high-scoring game this week, but I’m hoping for a Bills win.

How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

The 2-11 Giants, who are not nearly as awful as their record suggests, are sitting on the #1 draft pick after last week’s pathetic showing in New England. All they need to do is keep the losing going, so my guess is today they will ambush Washington in the cold, snowy Meadowlands.

    Or maybe not.

    Go, Bills!

My mistake. The Giants will wait until the last game or two to win a game they have no business winning.

The Bills are not good today either.

Jeff, I’m convinced the Bills are bi-polar this season: they suck in the First Half and come on like Gang Busters in the Second Half!

After last Sunday’s surprise win against the Bucs (who went on to lose a last-minute heartbreaker this past Thursday night), the 3-10 Saints host the 7-6 Panthers at the Super Dome. I’m not expecting much, but I’ll have the game on—if I’m home that is. There’s still Christmas shopping to be done. Rainy weather is scheduled for today, but tonight we’re dropping into the low-20s or even high teens, so I want to get finished before the big freeze sets in.

Deb, Western NY is at 10 degrees right now. But, the Bills are playing in New England so it’s a good day to stay home and watch the game on TV. Check your mailbox later this week…

Was distracted getting prelim work done on ribs for dinner. When I sat down to football was slow to find Bills via Redzone, and was just in time to see the Pats score a not-even-touched 2nd TD vs nada from Bills. Not a promising 1st look, for sure.

Wait a minute! Just checked back in on the game, the Bills are only down a field goal & they just got possession with just a minute left in 3rd quarter. So let ’em play!

Bills-Patriots was a really interesting game.

The Ravens looked pretty good against the Bengals, shutting them out, highlighted by a late pick 6 in which a linebacker intercepted an awful pass by Joe Burrow near the end zone and handed it off to a safety who ran untouched the rest of the way.

Jeff, Joe Burrow looked disgusted on the sideline today. The Ravens totally dominated them. Maybe the Ravens can beat the New England Patriots next week to help the Bills out…

I see the Bills carried the day and I’m glad for them! I checked a minute ago and the Seahawks are down a point to hated Indianapolis so maybe they have a chance!
