BUFFALO BILLS VS. NY JETS

The surprising 5-2 Buffalo Bills take on the struggling NY Jets (3-5) tonight on the NFL Network. The Bills are 3 and 1/2 point favorites. The Bills were able to defeat the Oakland Raiders in the wind and the rain of Western NY. The weather forecast for tonight’s game appears more benign. These AFC East games can be rough, tough, and close. No Bills fan expects an easy game tonight.

Go, Bills! As long as they don’t let down they should be able to beat the soso Jets. It is supposed to be 70+ today here so weather will be nice.

Jeff, the weather here in San Antonio is in the 80s! Fortunately, my Wyndham TV carries the NFL Channel so I’ll be watching the Bills vs. Jets tonight!

Jeff, I think the CBS TV station in Buffalo is also broadcasting the Bills vs. Jets game for those folks who don’t get the NFL Channel. I just walked down the street to the San Antonio Central Library. They have something called the Book Cellar: thousands of books organized by genre and author. I loaded up! Don’t tell Diane!

Maggie, the Bills made a trade at the deadline on Halloween trading a Third Round pick and Seventh Round pick for Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin. It’s doubtful he’ll play in this game, but he would be a factor for the rest of the season once he learns the Playbook.

George that library book cellar is great 20 some years ago when I was there for a visit my cousin took me there as a friend of his worked there. We got to go to the back room and I scored big time. Glad you found some goodies how do you get them home without Diane finding out?

Maggie, I may have to jettison some of my clothes in order to fit the books I found at the Book Cellar under the 50 lb. limit! I’ll have to use my Cloaking Device to render the books invisible to Diane’s piercing eyes!

George, I hadn’t seen the Bills play before last night, and I’m surprised by how poorly they played. I suspect they are not as good as some of the “analysts” have been guessing.

Rick, before the season started, the Vegas over/under on Bills wins was 6 games. I thought that was about right. The Bills are a flawed team that got lucky with turnovers that allowed them to win some games they should have lost. Last night, they lost the turnover battle and the game.
