BUFFALO BILLS VS. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

bills-eagles
The Buffalo Bills are a surprising 1-point favorite over the Philadelphia Eagles. Which Eagles team will show up today? Will it be the Eagle team that got blown out by the Lions on Thanksgiving? Or will it be the Eagles team that defeated the Patriots last week? LeSean McCoy says he won’t shake Chip Kelly’s hand…he’s still angry at being traded. How will your favorite NFL team do today?

The 4-8 Saints limp down the homestretch and take on the 6-6 Buccaneers today. A little goodbye party for some upcoming retirements and a bit of Christmas shopping, along with my usual Sunday round of church, laundry, and cooking, will leave little time to watch as this debacle of a season winds down.

Deb, we’re working on Christmas cards. Our kids think we are so retro! They laugh at the telephone on the wall, too. The Saints will be going through some Big Changes next year.

Yeah– I still send Christmas cards. I sent about 70 this year. Not only my kids but peers closer to my age think I’m crazy, but I love sending (and receiving) Christmas cards. It’s a dying practice for sure.

Deb, we’re clinging to the Christmas card tradition, too. Many of our friends question our sanity of sending out those wonderful cards. But when Christmas cards go away, Christmas just won’t be the same.

We send them too, got the last one in the mail yesterday. Not only is it a nice way of hearing fem people, sometimes the only contact in the year, but they are attractive, colorful and fun. Our list has cut down from nearly 100 to about 40 over the years, but that’s okay.

    J. J. Watt has a broken hand, and the Texans are no match for the Pats. The Cowboys play the Packers at Lambeau field, where they’ve won something like one game in the last 30 years. I think the safe bet would be the Packers in that one.

Watt with a broken hand is better than most other players, and I don’t think Gronkowski is back to full strength, so hope the Texans pull it off. I’m hoping the Pack can keep the momentum going.

Maggie, I”m still in shock from that Hail Mary Rodgers threw against the Lions! Astonishing! I’m hoping the Texans can take out the Patriots.

Bill, the NY Times is picking the Texans over the Patriots! They even suggest that Belichick sit Brady (who will be without his top two receivers) and concede the game!

Guarantee: The Giants will 100% not lose today! (They play Monday night in Miami.) I’m rooting for the Bills (over the Eagles), the Packers (over the Cowboys), and the Bears (over the Redskins) to help them out.

Yep, Seahawks slaughtered the Ravens! Too bad about the Bills! Glad to see the Pack beat the Cowpies! Great win by the Raiders over the Geldings, too! If only the hated Stealers would have lost it would have been a perfect day!!!

Rick, I totally agree! Rex Ryan has done nothing to correct the penalty problem. We’re 14 games into the season and the Bills are still committing bone-head penalties. I’ve seen the Bills lose three games–including this latest debacle in Philly–because of excessive penalties.
