BUFFALO BILLS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS (Monday Night Football ESPN)

The Buffalo Bills (4-1) travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans (3-2) in a rematch of 2020’s infamous Covid-19 game. The Bills are 5 1/2 point favorites.

Last year, the Titans had plenty of infected players and coaches. The Bills v. Titans game was postponed and finally scheduled for a rare Tuesday afternoon time slot. The Titans beat the Bills 42-16 in a game with Covid-19 infections playing a key role in player psychology. This year, with the recent outbreak with the Arizona Cardinals, Covid-19 threatens to affect teams every week. Is your favorite NFL team fully vaccinated?

    I believe so.

Go, Bills! YOu know they are the better team and need to keep winning. After all, they are the only New York team with a winning record.

Jeff, I’m hoping the Bills win big tonight! According to a sports ticket site, 58% of the tickets to the Bills v. Titans game were purchased by Bills fans!

If they’re not, they appear to be keeping their mouths shut, unlike Kirk Cousins who spouts anti-vaxxer nonsense all the time. Dude, you know why you didn’t die from polio, diphtheria, whooping cough, rubella, or measles? Because someone smarter than you decided to get you immunized when you were a kid. I guess that connection is a bridge too far for the brainwashed!

Deb, we just returned from spending a weekend in Ohio with Diane’s sister. Ohio is anti-vax country. I got a lot of funny looks from customers when I went to Giant Eagle to pick up my Sunday NY TIMES…because I was wearing a mask!

Are you sure it wasn’t because you were picking up the New York Times? Lol. Six on one hand, half-a-dozen on the other.

Deb, Brooklyn is going through the same angst here with Kyrie Irving – supposed to be the third of the Big Three taking the Nets to the NBA Championship – refusing to be vaccinated (he’s a “studying the issue” and “making up my own mind” kind of guy, apparently). Thus, no playing for you, fool. It remains to be seen if they will trade him because as Deb as said, once they are brainwashed, there is no un-brainwashing.

I have to admit that I’m not so much into sports – but if those nice girls were doing some gymnastics I’d surely watch.
    Rather OT:
I got my flu shot today and my doc said there’s no need for a two weeks wait between different injections so at the end of the week I get my Covid 19 booster shot!
    It’s crazy:
I’m in Germany right now where you have to wear a mask in supermarkets etc – but last week in Hungary most people went shopping, dining etc without masks.
Just found a disturbing work on the pandemic by scientists in Oxford.
US males life expectancy went down more than two years from 2019 to 2020! Unbelievable.

Rick, I would have kicked the field goal and gone into Overtime. Bills Head Coach Shawn McDermott decided to go for the win on Fourth Down…and it didn’t work.
