Congratulations!
So this was a kind of Christmas present for both of you?
That’s a kind of a record – and from your looks in these nice pictures you seem to be as happy as 40 years ago.
May I ask how many years you knew each other, were together before deciding on a marriage?
And now a “bad” joke that a friend of mine used to tell often.
When someone proudly told him “We’ve been together now for x years …” he’d ask:
And how many more years do you have to stay together? 🙂 🙂
Wish you all the best for the New Year, especially health, that’s the most important thing right now in these crazy times.
Wolf, Diane and I went to High School together. We worked on the Yearbook together. I had a crush on Diane, but was too shy to act on it. When our 10th High School Reunion came around, one of my sisters suggested I invite Diane to go with me. I did and the sparks flew! A year later we were getting married!
42 is pretty good, but in a preemptive strike, I’m going to wish you congrats on 52! By that time the pandemic should be over and you crazy kids can go paint the town in style!
Jerry, thanks for your predictive congratulations! Diane has chosen to go with Take-Out dinner at her favorite restaurant: The Hideaway Grille https://hideawaygrille.com/ instead of painting the town red.
Jeff, Diane ordered the BBQ ribs and I ordered the pork chop. Diane’s dessert will be Chocolate Cake and mine will be Coconut Cream Pie! Healthy salads, of course!

I told Jackie your anniversary was coming up. We need a Then and Now side by side picture gallery. We had to forego all celebrations, trips, etc. for our 50th this year, but as long as we’re all here, that’s what matters.
Jeff, I’ll work on a “Before” photo later today. Right now, Diane and I are celebrating our Anniversary by going to BJ’s Warehouse during Senior Citizen Hour. We’re trying to stock up so we don’t have to leave our house much in January when the pandemic is likely to be at its worst.
Patti, Diane spends days “Christmas-tizing” our home. Christmas music is still playing (until New Year’s Day according to Diane’s Rules). Too bad none of our family or friends can visit.
You haven’t changed a bit! Congrats!
Bob, I thank you for your good wishes. There’s no one else I would want to spend a pandemic with other than Diane!
Congratulations!

That’s a really wonderful sequence of events which you don’t find often – again. congratulations!
A charming couple—but you guys look far too young to have been married 42 years! Congratulations—and here’s to many more years ahead!
Deb, thanks for your kind words. Diane and I have had fun for 42 years! We’re eager for more.

Jackie said you can order the bone-in pork chop for her!

I hear that. We did that at Costco on Monday!
Congratulations, guys. Just take it ten years at a time and start shooting for 52.
Michael, during the Age of Coronavirus we’ll have to take it one vaccine at a time!
Ain’t it about time she found a younger man?
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Dan, age is just a number! Thanks for your good wishes!
What lovely photos in your lovely Christmas house. Many more to come.

Congrats. Keep going and stay safe during this “interesting time” Love the T shirts
Maggie, Katie gave us the STAY SAFE, READ BOOKS shirts. I’m hoping 2021 will be a whole lot less “interesting.”
What a lovely couple you make! Congratulations. Sharing and Caring always.
neeru, if you find the Right Person, Life just gets Better! Thank you for your kind words.
Congratulations to you both!
You’re obviously soul mates. Glad you found each other.
Beth, thanks for your well wishes! Diane and I “clicked” in High School but it took me 10 years to close the Deal.
congrats.
