I’ve never seen an issue of JAILBIRD, but this collection has a cover reproduction of it. Earl Kemp provides colorful commentary on the publishing of these magazines. This is a must-own item! My copy just arrived and it’s taken over my life. I can’t put it down! GRADE: A

Most of the artwork in CULT MAGAZINES is completely new to me, Patti. And the commentary on what went on back then is fascinating reading. It’s a different Age now.
This sounds top notch. I see Amazon has it for just over $23, plus shipping, of course. I’m sorely tempted. The only problem I have with these books is I usually read through them once, then they gather dust thereafter. Still…
