Despicable Me features a super-villain called Gru who wants to steal the moon. His nemesis, Vector the other super-villain, steals a shrinking-ray gun that’s essential to Gru’s masterplan. As part of his nefarious plot, Gru adopts three cute little girls. And that’s when his plans go off the rails. The girls change Gru…for the better. The graphics are amazing and the story is surprisingly touching. And you’ll love Gru’s little minions. GRADE: B
Looks cute. We haven’t seen it yet but will.
The 3D effects are very good, Jeff. And the story, though predictable, is well done.
Been trying to get my grandson to agree to see this, but no luck so far.
Your grandson would love the 3D effects, Patti. And you would enjoy the storyline.
Just saw it Sunday and works well in 2-D also!
The 3D effects were wonderful, Dan. But I know some people have trouble watching 3D movies.
I’ll wait and see the video rental 2-D version. The problem I have is trying to get teh 3-D glasses to stay over my regular glasses. The slightest movement of y head and they slip and I spend a lot of time – missing some of the film – adjusting…adjusting…adjusting…
DESPICABLE ME would be worth watching in 2D, Rick. The 3D is just a bonus.
