eero 6 DUAL-BAND MESH WIFI SYSTEM

Patrick decided out WIFI was too slow so he ordered the Eero 6 Dual-Band Mesh WIFI System. Patrick installed it in minutes and we saw a big difference in speed right away. Our old router from Netgear was almost 10 years old.

The eero 6 can handle speeds up to 500 Mbps and covers up to 3000 square feet. Our house is 2400 square feet so this works out well. No more dead spots and buffering!

Do you need some new computer equipment?

Steve, our old WI-FI couldn’t handle our Facebook PORTAL. And sometimes, we’d have trouble watching Netflix on our SONY HDTV. It was time for an upgrade.

I hate having to even THINK about this kind of thing, much less deal with it. I have A T & T wi-fi and, like Steve said, it works just fine.

Michael, we live in a Verizon area. WI-FI can be iffy with them so Patrick provided our own router. It’s great to have a son who is also our IT Tech.

We also have AT&T WiFi and it works fine—especially considering the demands we put on it: John has been working from home since covid first arrived, using two computers and a laptop. Sometimes one or both of the twins work from here too. Then we all have phones, pads, kindles, and laptops, not to mention two TVs with Roku sticks. (Of course, we never use every item that runs on WiFi simultaneously!) Our house is about 2200 square feet and we do have two WiFi boosters (one at the front of the house and one at the back). Overall, I’d say our WiFi service does the job.

Verizon here, but it seems to be better than George’s. Of course, we have Fios, which is only available in certain areas. We should probably get a booster for the bedroom, because on the rare occasions Jackie uses it in there, she has had some issues.

Jeff, since Patrick installed the eero 6, all of our “dead” spots seemed to have vanished. The whole house is covered now. And, every computer device works faster!

I think that I — like a lot of people — need a Patrick. Xfinity doesn’t seem to offer those.

Jeff, Maggie Mason calls my son The Amazing Patrick and that’s spot on. I have photos of Patrick sitting on my lap and pressing the keys on my SANYO keyboard at age 4. From an early age, Patrick loved computers and technology. At one time, Patrick had 5 iPods (full to the max!). Now that music is streaming on his iPhone or on his 8 massive portable hard drives.

We’re stuck with Comcast, and Comcast sucks. The network wi-fi is iffy so we bought their wi-fi Pods which they pushed hard. They have done little to improve things and we still have slow and dead spots where we need speed the most. But we have had it with them, I replaced their router with no effect, and the hell with it. So, no, instead, let me know when Patrick has a solution to what’s happening to the Idiot Party in Congress. You know, the one who licks Trump’s shoes.

Rick, I can relate to your slow WI-FI and dead spots. Patrick’s eero 6 banished them from our house! I don’t think anyone has any answers to the groveling GOP who worship at the feet of Trump.

Our “new” house is not that big but in the old we had problems because of those thick earthen walls (around 20 inches).
The only problem is when I’m in the garden near the garage in the back in the shade of one of our big trees – then I can’t access the internet.
Befor summer we’ll have to look for a new powerful repeater.

I still have the steam driven system that Edison put in! As long as Patrick is handy, get him to bypass the monitoring my comments always require, even though no one else’s do!

I can see why you want the Dems to hold the House in 2022! Biden is doing such a wonderful job on the economy, national security, the border, inflation, jobs, fuel prices, and our prestige abroad!

Speaking about computer equipment, anyone got any suggestions/comments about the all-in-one desktops? I need to replace my desktop and don’t want to go to a laptop. I already have an iPad and an older iPad mini.
