Steve, impressive list! I considered NIGHT MANAGER but it didn’t make the Final Cut. There are rumors that the BBC is working on a sequel to NIGHT MANAGER.

The only show on your list I’ve seen last season was Brain Dead.

My favorites would be topped by the Graham Norton Show, Madam Secretary, Big Bang Theory, Man with a Plan (joey tribiani grown up and suburban american), Kevin can Wait, the Great Indoors (? on title), Bull, CSI NOLA, The Great British Baking Show, reruns of Blandings and Fawlty Towers, MacGyver (never saw the original), Hawaii 5-0, The Great American Baking show (where the contestants act more like refined Brits than usual boasting, coarse yanks on cooking shows), Life in Pieces, Scandal, Black List (though that’s losing it’s steam) Lethal Weapon (like the 2 stars, the guy playing the mel gibson part much better than the orig, Damon Wayans is just as good as Danny Glover or nearly so), and Notorious. Also Top Chef especially as it’s in Charleston and I always take notes on restaurants from these type shows)

I clearly watch too much tv. Would love to see Bosch, but will wait for DVD’s to be avail, then they’d probably sit a while while I attempt to clear the dvr (back at 23%).

I used to watch Agents of shield, but I think it was a conflict with either no dvr or old dvr with limited recording capabilities and it was inconsistent on demand. Have wanted to watch house of cards, but think it was streaming netflix only. someday

None of the above, George. I thought HOUSE OF CARDS was particularly nasty this season, and not always in a good way. We are going to start watching JESSICA JONES soon. We quit on BRAINDEAD after three episodes. The others we haven’t watched.

I’d definitely put BERLIN STATION on the list. And Steve has three I’d pick: THE NIGHT OF (especially that great, great first episode), THE NIGHT MANAGER, and STRANGER THINGS. Jackie would add MADAM SECRETARY and DOWNTON ABBEY and CALL THE MIDWIFE.

    RIVER
    HAPPY VALLEY
    LONGMIRE
    HOMELAND
    THE DURRELLS IN CORFU

I’m sure there are others that have slipped my mind.

Can’t believe you didn’t see it, being the fan you are. It was a 6-part PBS show (there will be a second series), based on Gerry’s MY FAMILY AND OTHER ANIMALS. What a crew! They made Corfu look very appealing, despite the squalor of the house they lived in.

George, I didn’t watch too many TV shows this year. I grabbed couple of episodes of BLACKLIST and HOUSE OF CARDS, and enjoyed all seasons of DOWNTON ABBEY. We’re are currently watching THE CROWN on Netflix. I’ll be looking out for the two Marvel shows.

Prashant, I’m a fan of the NETFLIX MARVEL series. DAREDEVIL 2, JESSICA JONES, and LUKE CAGE are all worth watching! IRON FIST arrives in 2017.
