FORGOTTEN BOOKS #148: MURDER FOR CHRISTMAS Edited by Thomas Godfrey, Illustrated by Gahan Wilson

In the spirit of the season I’m offering up this classic Christmas mystery collection: Murder for Christmas with some great Gahan Wilson illustrations. The variety in this collection should appeal to the most jaded mystery reader. It’s a nice mix of the familiar and not-so-familiar. Plenty of copies are available for a pittance on the Internet. Remarkable number of FFB choices I’ve read or at least looked at over the years this week. Very thoughtful of everyone…a pretty solid, eclectic antho, I’ve thought (though I think Gahan Wilson could’ve done a better job if allowed to edit as well as illustrate it)…

This collection also includes some of Gahan Wilson’s illustrations with the stories, Todd. I’m sure Gahan would have made other story choices.
