Ooooh, sounds marvellous! Thanks George, I really want this 🙂
Sergio, THE ART OF THE PULPS is a fabulous book! You’ll love it!
Sounds fun, but not really my area of interest.
I can’t believe the Bills lost to the Jets!
Jeff, I had a Bad Feeling about this game. Remember last year’s BOUCHERCON in New Orleans when we watched the Bills lose to the Jets? The best predictor of Future Performance is Past Performance!
I can, the Bills were awful, especially the QB. How have they won so man games thus far???
Thanks, George, for the nice words on the book! I’m very pleased with how it came out.
And having been born in Buffalo and lived my first 21 years there, I’m still a die-hard Bills fan. Still somewhat in denial that we lost to the Jets. It’ll make breaking the playoff skid that much harder, but at least the rest of the AFC generally cooperated this weekend.
Go Bills!
Doug, I loved THE ART OF THE PULPS! As a Bills fan, you know nothing comes easy. The Bills still have a shot at ending the Playoff drought, but it’s an uphill climb! Keep up the good work!
I assume this book cuts off before the digests gained traction. I have other books on the pulps, so I’ll skip this one.
Rick, THE ART OF THE PULPS ends up with the rise of paperbacks. The artwork is exceptional!
And for those interested, you can see a bit of a preview of the book here:

And the text of the intro to the Adventure chapter, with a few of the images (along with others that Heritage added as well) is here, but it’s not formatted in the same way that it is in the book:
