Always loved One For My Baby and Night and Day. Too much Sinatra here for my tastes. Could do without Something Stupid and The Surrey with the Fringe on Top. And I have always hated My Way.

I had all of Sinatra’s great Capital Records music on vinyl (purchased for pennies at a yard sale in the 1970s). They’re long gone, but when I switched to CDs, the Sinatra album I had to have was “In the Wee Small Hours” which is full of deep-blue ballads such as “Mood Indigo”, “When Your Lover Has Gone”, and “Last Night When We Were Young”. Great stuff!

What Deb said. “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning” is probably my current favorite. Frank should never have done stuff like “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” and the like. I’ve got a couple of other CDs (Jackie likes “Duets” CDs but it’s well known that Sinatra’s was not done as real duets but separately) but this looks like a good collection. I used to have a big vinyl collection that had his commentary on some of the songs.

Jeff, I bought this collection because it had most of what I wanted from Sinatra’s long career. And, it’s a bargain at $25!

I’m with Patti on Sinatra, I have just about every album on CD. I listen mostly to classical music, but when I want vocals, I pull out the Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, June Christie, and a few others.
