Spring is supposed to be here in Western New York, but instead Mother Nature dropped a couple of inches of fresh, heavy wet snow on us. Here’s a picture of what it looks like outside my front door. This is a cold and slushy April Fool’s Day joke that everyone here will have do deal with today. How’s the Spring weather where you are? Any snow?
It’s my cousin’s birthday, and a more appropriate day it couldn’t be! To spare him some pain we often refer to it as March 32nd!
Bob, APRIL FOOL’S DAY was one of Diane’s least favorite days where she had a classroom full of mischievous kids!
Jackie’s father’s birthday was April 1. He would have been 100 today! With his personality, it was an appropriate day.
Jeff, I have a friend whose birthday is APRIL 1. I never forget her birthday!
Got some light snow Saturday night here in Michigan. Temps are supposed to improve this week.
Steve, we’re supposed to hit the 50s later this week, too. But right now, snow is covering my lawn.
We got it yesterday morning. Ugh.
Patti, we were fooled by a few nice days (40-degree temps) last week. But, now it looks like January outside.
No! Ugh, sorry to see that (our local radar did show the front moving through Upstate). We had a little light rain yesterday and it is colder today, but nothing like that. It is sunny here, at least, even though it is just above freezing at the moment.
Jeff, glad your weather is better than ours. Winter returned to Western NY this weekend. However, we are going to meet a friend at a new pizza place for lunch today!
No fools here. Today: 60 high, 40 low, light rain in the p.m. Barbara will be gone all day to her quilt group, I’ll be reading.
Rick, snowy weather is reading weather here. Hopefully, tomorrow’s 50 degree temperatures will take all this snow away!
I spent twenty minutes scouring over that photo trying to find the hidden girl in a bikini. Well played, George!
Jerry, anyone in a bikini here today would run the risk of frost-bite!
