STARBUCKS BLONDE SUNRISE BLEND

Starbucks recently released a new Blonde coffee called Sunrise Blend. I’ve sampled several cups of Starbucks Blonde Sunrise Blend. Like the other Blonde coffees Starbucks features–Willow, Veranda, Bright Sky Blend, and Aria–this new Sunrise Blend is smooth and mild coffee. I detected hints of chocolate while drinking Sunrise Blend. If you don’t like the strong (and sometimes bitter) regular Starbucks coffees, I recommend these lighter roasted Blonde coffees. I like them all (Willow is my favorite), but I’m enjoying a cup of Sunrise Blend as I’m writing this post. Do you have a favorite coffee? Are you a Starbucks fan? GRADE: B+

We have switched over the last few years from mostly Kirkland (the Costco house brand) to Community Coffee after Jackie discovered it on a trip to New Orleans. In Starbucks, I stick to the Pike while Jackie prefers the dark, especially if it is Italian. Willow and other mild blends are not bold enough for her taste.

OK, slight correction. It is half Community’s Cafe Special Medium-Dark Roast and half Starbucks Dark French Roast she has at home now, since the Community Dark wasn’t in stock (at Amazon, where else?) the last time she ordered coffee,

Dan, I’ll have to check out SEATTLE’S BEST. I haven’t seen it in the stores around here, but I’ll go online and find it.

Patti, I used to drink gallons of coffee but my doctor convinced me to cut back a little. Neither Patrick nor Katie drink coffee. Diane doesn’t drink tea or coffee…she prefers hot chocolate.

I grew up drinking coffee – black, no sugar – as that was the way both of my parents drank it. I’m always surprised at how many of our friends don’t ever drink it.

Jeff, both of my parents drank coffee so I suppose that’s how I got into it. In college, all my friends were caffeine fiends.

Coffee? Dark, black, strong. Two cups a day, in the morning. It’s wonderful. I’m having my second cup right now. We used to get Gold Coast, but it was discontinued. Now we buy Yukon, or occasionally Vienna Dark Roast. Welike it as bold as possible. I don’t like the light coffees, might as well drink tea or water.

Rick, I used to love bold coffee, too. But in the last five or six years, I’ve gone to the STARBUCKS BLONDE coffees. The lighter roast tickles my tongue!

Coffee, ptui! Worse, a nearby Arby’s has closed and a Starbuck’s is taking it’s place! Around here they have a law that there must be at least one Starbuck’s every 100 yards!

I see all the different blonde brands, but what is the main difference between all the other blondes and the sunrise blonde? We mainly drink veranda so what’s the comparison between those two?

Kelly, I like WILLOW among the Starbucks Blonde Coffees, but that’s become more difficult to find. Our local Starbucks only stocks Veranda (which I like, too). But Bright Sky is almost impossible to find here. Sunrise has a crisp flavor and a nice finish. Why not give it a try? TARGET has Sunrise at a very inexpensive price right now.

So disappointed Sunrise was a limited edition. It is by far my favorite. Maybe they’ll bring it back under another name??????!!!!
