I see that TACO Don has declared Indigenous People’s Day to be null and void, in favor of Columbus Day, because he feels that voting Italians will glom onto that like ketchup on a Mar-a-Lago steak, and certainly not because he’s (**cough! cough!**) racist. Does anybody (outside of the sycophants in his Cabinet and any die-hard MAGA-ist not currently receiving electroshock therapy) still pay any attention to his ravings? No matter. I hope you and Diane thoroughly enjoy the day.

Yeah, it only took two years and 60,000 dead Palestinians and totally flattening Gaza. But look on the bright side: less demolition work is necessary for the Trump Golf Resort and Hotel. Plus, Bibi got another two years in office.

New York canceled the Indigenous Persons Parade due to the Nor’Easter.

Jeff, Patrick is flying to Taiwan today from San Jose. Katie opted to work today so she could get Friday off to travel to NYC to meet with a friend and see some Broadway shows over the weekend. Diane is doing laundry, I’m going to my annual appointment with my sleep doctor this morning, and the Bills are going to keep up lated tonight on MNF. What did you think of that fight after the Lions v. Chiefs game? Someone needs to be suspended!

Trump was going to end both wars on day one. If he hadn’t spent 9 months sucking up to Putin and Bebe, maybe the hostages would have returned home much sooner and the people of Gaza would have found a few buildings and street signs still there. He also deserted Zelensky until this month too. Think of all the lives saved and unnecessary destruction that could have been avoided there. Giving him credit for anything is not appropriate for TACO Don!

Jackie, I share your feelings. This Second Administration of Trump has been a nightmare. But the hostages are home. Even a broken clock is right twice a day!

We’ll see for how long and really how much. And how it will be insisted upon so as to whitewash his other crimes. I mean, Look At All The Wars He Hasn’t Ended already, given they were ongoing and unresolved fighting or non-existent delusions/”understandable slips of the tongue/mind”…release of hostages and cessation of murders are good. Pretending that this is a breakthrough to lasting justice is perpetuating lies and not fixing what’s actually broken.

Todd, I fear whatever deals Trump made with Hamas will fall apart–that’s just the way the Middle East works. But, Trump got the hostages out so I give him credit for that.

I just saw the Bills and Brewers get their butts kicked, but on the upside, the M’s smashed the hated Blue Jays! I haven’t seen an OWLHOOT zine from you, George! You’re usually one of the first to deliver so I hope you didn’t forget!

Bob, QUICK DRAW and some goodies for you should arrive today. The Family Reunion party and the Annual Bills party sucked a lot of time away from reading and writing in September. The Bills looked horrible on MNF and now are on a much needed Bye where they need to regroup! Congratulations on the Mariners pitching!

George, I have to agree with you there. Trump made a lot of people happy—we’ll see how long it lasts. As for his other achievements… Well, representative government had a good run here: 250 years or thereabouts, and I for one shall look back on it with pride.
