I have no problem with that, but even a non-religious guy like me thinks Easter Sunday is a really bad day to make this recognition!

Easter is a rebirth day….and this: ‘In 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden proclaimed March 31 as a Transgender Day of Visibility, stating in part, “I call upon all Americans to join in the fight for full equality for all transgender people.” Biden was the first American president to issue a formal presidential proclamation recognizing the event.’

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING CROOKED AND CORRUPT PROSECUTORS AND JUDGES THAT ARE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO INTERFERE WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2024, AND PUT ME IN PRISON, INCLUDING THOSE MANY PEOPLE THAT I COMPLETELY & TOTALLY DESPISE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO DESTROY AMERICA, A NOW FAILING NATION, LIKE “DERANGED” JACK SMITH, WHO IS EVIL AND “SICK,” MRS. FANI “FAUNI” WADE, WHO SAID SHE HARDLY KNEW THE “SPECIAL” PROSECUTOR, ONLY TO FIND THAT HE SPENT YEARS “LOVING” HER, LONG BEFORE THE GEORGIA PERSECUTION OF PRESIDENT TRUMP BEGAN (AND THEREBY MAKING THE CASE AGAINST ME NULL, VOID, AND ILLEGAL!), AND LAZY ON VIOLENT CRIME ALVIN BRAGG WHO, WITH CROOKED JOE’S DOJ THUGS, UNFAIRLY WORKING IN THE D.A.’s OFFICE, ILLEGALLY INDICTED ME ON A CASE HE NEVER WANTED TO BRING AND VIRTUALLY ALL LEGAL SCHOLARS SAY IS A CASE THAT SHOULD NOT BE BROUGHT, IS BREAKING THE LAW IN DOING SO (POMERANTZ!), WAS TURNED DOWN BY ALL OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES, AND IS NOT A CRIME. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Neeru, Diane and I traveled to Ohio to help Diane’s sister prepare for the Easter weekend. On Saturday, we helped with all the Polish food and setting up the tables for our eleven guests. Today, we have nine guests who will be served a traditional Easter meal of spiral ham, homemade applesauce, cheese potatoes, greens salad, green beans, and sweet potato casserole. For dessert: apple pie, lemon pie, and chocolate cream pie.

Bob, the food was delicious and a good time was had by all. Tomorrow, Diane and I will be driving back to Western NY. Could be rainy…

    Happy Easter to you all!
Hope you’re having a good time. Here it’s almost summer, temperature is in the low 20s aka 70 plus Fahrenheit
Though we are not religious at all Easter means time for a family reunion. So my wife has been cooking, baking and preparing for Monday – we’ll be 7 or 8 hungry people who will enjoy her food.
And of course I’m assisting, helping with peeling onions etc and taking the garbage out and the greeneries for composting. And my main job is to care for the dishes, arrange them on the table – and operating the dishwasher.

Wolf, we had rain yesterday and temps in the 40s when we woke up this morning. I’ll be peeling sweet potatoes (better than peeling onions!).

Happy Easter to all who celebrate. We’re hosting the “in-laws” (Julia’s boyfriend and his parents) and having our traditional Easter dinner: grilled lamb, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes & gravy, and Yorkshire pudding. I’m also roasting a bunch of veggies (carrots, parsnips, onions, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower) to have as an extra side dish. The in-laws are bringing dessert. I anticipate a fun time for all!

Same to the Kelleys. Deb, that sounds scrumptious. You can’t go wrong with lamb.

We’re taking our neighbor out (she picked up some stuff for us when we were away, and even braved the Post Office to send me the title of my old car when we bought the new one) for Indian food.

Jeff, like you we have some wonderful neighbors! One of them is picking up our mail. Another is buying me a Sunday NY TIMES since Ohio seems to have banned out-of-state newspapers.
