Megan is dressing like the Leo DiCaprio character from ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. I am betting no one will know who she is. Go Blue Jays!

Patti, many of my Dodger fans predicted their team would sweep the Blue Jays in four games! They’re singing a different tune now!

    Nice one, Jerry.

We had two inches of rain and 50 mph winds yesterday, but it is clearing out today, though strong winds remain.

We don’t get trick or treaters these days. Anyway, we’ll undoubtedly spend much of the day packing for tomorrow’s trip to New Orleans.

    Have fun.

Jeff, we’re recovering from yesterday’s rainy drive to Honeoye (in the middle of Nowhere) for the Celebration of Life for our friend who died from Neuroblastoma (an aggressive form of brain cancer). We lucked out on the drive back to North Tonawanda when the rain took a break…until we drove into our driveway and it started again. More rain this morning and a windy Halloween for the Trick-or-Treaters tonight.

Pretty much the same weather here in S. Jersey/Phil-Camden burbs. We rarely get too many kids, even or because we’re near a school. Thus, even three bags is of micropacks of candy was probably overbuying.

Sorry about the loss of your friend. Glad the weather held during your return, at least.

Todd, last Halloween it was 78 degrees here. Today, it’s 48 degrees and windy. Last year we got 200 kids–Diane was worried we would run out of candy. This year, we have three big bags of candy and may have too much…

Well. it’s probably telling that I saw the one on the cartoonish woman’s breast before those on the background. Funny how that works.

Any idea where that come from, or what it means in context?

I don’t get many trick or treaters, so for the third year Larry and I will be going to friends house in Santee, an easy county suburb. They live a block from a school and get tons of kids. Their next door neighbor does fabulous displays. Larry’s going as a care bear for the 2nd year. I may wear jammies.

Our friends make big pots of chili and massive amounts of candy are given out. We’re going to a fabulous discount store on the way to get some & I’m going to get some 10c boxes of Mac and cheese and other food for a f noood drive.
