The same to you and yours, George. It’s grilled chicken, corn on the cob, cole slaw, ice cream here at the Portland digs. All but the last item are somewhat healthy. This is the first time in years we’ve not had deviled eggs on Labor day. Sigh. Enjoy your rain, George, it’ll be about 95 here today, we’ll reach 100 for the first time this year later in the week. Not that we’re complaining, there’s plenty of cool and wet weather in winter and spring here. Speaking of reading, that book will go to the Post Office tomorrow.
The 60 degree temps around here today scotched the outdoor grilling and picnic plans in Western NY, Rick. But, Wing Fest had good weather and was a huge success! Glad you have the temps you enjoy (I’m a 60s kind of guy). And Happy Labor Day to you and yours!
