Brings back a lot of memories. My 2nd date with Kathy ws close to Valentine’s Day so I got her flowers.I will never forget the look on her face when she saw them. 2 months later we were married.
John and I are celebrating 30 years as an official couple today: February 14, 1987 being the day we decided “you’re the one for me!” When we got married two years later, we chose the Saturday closest to Valentine’s Day, which was February 11. So we just celebrated our 28th anniversary this weekend (great time in New Orleans) and today we celebrate 30 years as a couple.
Deb, I’m a Disney stockholder so I think the Magic Kingdom will cut me some slack! Congratulations on your Good Times with your husband. Valentine’s Day holds a lot of great memories for us, too!
Jerry, Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours! I have reservations for dinner at Diane’s favorite local restaurant. Women will receive a red rose, men will receive chocolates. And a harpist will be playing romantic music in the background.
Hey, every day is Valentine’s Day for the Kelleys.
We don’t celebrate as such any more. If we did it would be 51 years. Jackie couldn’t decide between JOHN WICK 2 (the one we both really want to see) and LA LA LAND (the one we should see, with the Oscars coming up), so will probably see the latter and save JOHN WICK for next week.
Happy St. Valentine’s Day, George and Diane! I hope you have a wonderful day and evening. George, be sure to wear your red cummerbund with your tux tonight.
We only exchange cards today, because tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and we’ll exchange a small gift then. We often take a small trip for the anniversary, but this year decided to stay home. So it’s tomorrow we’ll be dining out, etc.
I’m in Germany right now for a week without my wife – but I left some chocolates for her (hidden in a cupborad …) and told her this morning where to find them.
The good side of all this is that we’re retired and spend almost 100% of our time together – and never get on each other’s nerves which is really marvelous!
So I really hope that all of you have a good time too!
When my doc called me next morning and told me I’d have to go to the heart clinic asap, I was a bit surprised – seems my heart pulsed at double speed …
But an electro shock took it back to normal and with the help of some pills I’m out of the clinic again after one night connected to the machines.
So following Steve Winwood I’m “Back in the high life again”!
Wolf, glad your heart is back to normal speed! Several of my friends have experienced a “racing heart.” It’s no fun. Some of them had to get a pacemaker.

Dan, you are a lucky guy!
The Disney people will be calling, George!

Those two rodents should get a room!
And congrats to Deb and John on their “anniversary.”
Have you got something special planned for Diane today?

Have a great one, George and Diane!
Patti, hope you and Phil enjoy Valentine’s Day!

Jeff, Happy Valentine’s day to you and Jackie! You can’t go wrong seeing LA LA LAND and JOHN WICK 2. But they are very, very different movies.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
Sounds like you’ll come out a bit better at the restaurant, George (I’m not a flowers girl).
Books and favorite foods are in our plans. Maybe more Santa Clarita Diet.
Beth, enjoy Valentine’s Day! I’ll be sharing my chocolate with Diane.
Everyone: Enjoy.
Maggie, thanks for the Happy Valentine wishes! Same to you!

Rick, Happy Valentine’s Day and an early congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary! Love is in the air!
Rick, what George said. Happy Anniversary.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone from me too!

Wolf, chocolate is a favorite of my wife, too!
Another bogus, BS holiday dreamt up by the card, flowers, and candy commisars!
Right back to you, George!
Seems that Valentine helped …
