If you’r looking for mysteries and humor, check out High Potential! Premieres: Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 10/9c on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu. GRADE: INCOMPLETE but trending towards a B+
I will check it out.
Jerry, I think you’ll find HIGH POTENTIAL to be clever…and funny.
I enjoyed the first season.
Patti, there were 13 episodes of HIGH POTENTIAL in Season One. Since it garnered good ratings, HIGH POTENTIAL SEASON TWO will have 18 episodes.
Pass.
Something about it turns me off.
Jeff, three more Bills got hurt in the Jets game so the Dolphins will face a depleted team on Thursday night…
It’s so frustrating that the Giants did so much right in Dallas but still managed to lose.
Jeff, the Giants should have beaten the Cowboys. I couldn’t believe that 64 yard field goal!
Oddly, the most annoying thing about the series to me is that she only wears miniskirts (midi?) and shaggy jackets, presumably has a closet full of them. I think we might recognize her even with out her uniform at this point. I have enjoyed the series pretty well.
Todd, I have problem with women in miniskirts!
She looks good in them, but it does seem pandering, as well as unlikely that’s the only thing she wears.
The only (very slight) problem is that it’s locally slotted at the same time as the broadcasts of ASTRID episodes I haven’t seen yet, but I’ll have slightly delayed gratification for one or the other.
Todd, our local PBS station is broadcasting ASTRID episodes, too.
Finally catching UNDER THE VINES (New Zealand comedy/drama) and UP THE WOMEN (UK historical sitcom) tonight. Not bad. NJPBS offers.
I’m really enjoying it. I think her choice of clothing is supposed to reinforce her quirkiness. I think she was jean Smarts daughter in hacks, another I enjoy that show as well
Maggie, I’m very supportive of her choice of clothing!
