JESSICA JONES, SEASON TWO (Netflix)

I was a big fan of Season One of Jessica Jones so I was really looking forward to Season Two. I’m only a couple of episodes in to this new season and I can recommend it. Krysten Ritter stars as Jessica Jones–a private eye with attitude and some super powers. Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Eka Darville return from the First Season. The key to these series is the anger of Jessica Jones and her impulses to set things right. I think Krysten Ritter hits all the right notes in her performances. Ritter has to walk a fine line between controlled anger and uncontrolled rage. I think Netflix is doing a great job with these MARVEL series. GRADE: B+ (so far)

We’re looking forward to this when we get home. I read that David Tennant will be making an appearance later in the series, which could be difficult after Season 1.

How much TV do you guys watch, anyway? It must be hours every night!

By the way, the Seahawks defense (Legion of Boom) is just about gone. Heaven knows what they are going to do in free agency and the draft, but they won’t be as good as they once were. Looks like some “rebuilding” years ahead.

      Sorry to see Sherman go.

Jackie watches a LOT of television. Sometimes I watch, or let it wash over me, or leave the room to read elsewhere.

Jeff, the Buffalo Bills just pulled off an incredible trade: QB Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns for the 65th Pick in the 2018 DRAFT. Taylor was supposed to get a $6 million signing bonus this week. Now the Browns will have to pay him. Of course, now the Bills need a starting QB.

Rick, we probably average about an hour of TV per night. Many of the programs end up on the DVR and we fast-forward through the commercials to save time.

I saw that trade thing this morning. They think that the Browns will now go elsewhere than quarterback with their first pick – they also have #4 – which would give the Giants their choice at #2, but we’ll see.

George – I am two episodes into Season 2 and loving it. Krystin Ritter is amazing. Did you know she also wrote a thriller novel this last year which was well reviewed. I have it but have not gotten around to reading it yet.
