“Ingredients You Can See & Pronounce” says the Kind granola packaging. And, it’s true! I’m always on the lookout for healthy snacks that are low-carb. Kind granola bars fit the bill. Each of the two bars I sampled only had 8 grams of carbohydrate. These bars are Gluten Free (isn’t almost everything) and non-GMO. The Dark Chocolate Chunk bar and the Oats & Honey were only 150 calories. Kind offers granola bars in dozens of flavors, many of them much higher in carbohydrates especially the fruit ones. But, if you’re looking for a tasty snack, I’d reach for a Kind granola bar. Yum!
I love their fruit-and-nut and nut bars. I understand they’ve been instructed by the FDA to cease advertising their products as “healthy”, but as far as I concerned they’re delicious and far better for you than a Snickers bar!
Snack on, George!
Deb, these Kind granola bars are tasty and lo-carb. That’s a combination that’s rare in the snack aisle. Snack on, Deb!
And they have 5 grams of fiber. As far as Jackie is concerned you can’t go wrong with dark chocolate and coconut, two of her favorites in ice cream and other combinations.
Jeff, I’m with Jackie on dark chocolate and coconut. Two of my favorites!
Sounds tasty.
Rick, you would enjoy these Kind granola bars. There’s a such a variety!
George, I don’t think I have seen these in my parts but I’m on a low-carb diet not for any health reasons but to safeguard my health future.
Prashant, lo-carb is the way to go. America has an epidemic of diabetes caused chiefly by the high-carbohydrate foods most people eat.
What do they cost?
Bob, I bought a “Value Pak” (18 bars) at BJ’s Warehouse of Kind granola bars for $19. Roughly a buck a bar. Well worth it.
