Now he’s talking about going after Cuba. Sheesh! Will somebody please put Uncle Cankles in a home where he belongs?

Jerry, the Sunday Morning news shows–MEET THE PRESS, FACE THE NATION, and THIS WEEK WITH GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS–are showing the Trump video where he “promised” no more foreign wars. Not a Good Look.

Since he apparently has – among other things, short term memory loss, let me remind him of some HE said: “Regime change is a proven, absolute failure.”
So much for the “President of Peace.”

Trump foresees billions from all these disasters. A vacation home and women in a Black Sea resort courtsey of Putin, millions from crypto before it crashes, casinos in Iran and Gaza courtesy of the oil sheiks, kickbacks from UFC for hosting a White House brawl on July 4. The only hope is the country survives the next three years, when Trump decides he has enough money to retire, and (with luck) the Dems will have a modern Marshall Recovery Plan for the U.S.

Fred, Trump–and others like him–never believe they have enough money. No mention of how much this Iran War is going to cost us…

Jeff, maybe Trump thinks he’s going to live forever. But the Iranians may be planning to try to assassinate him…again.

The Permanent Drumpf Retirement Fund of “Peace” was so patently another Drumpf scam that none of this surprises me in the least…his buddies in the MidEast have found Iran a nuisance at the best of times, so an obvious way to try to get the Republicans back into line behind him was to continue and enlarge bellicsosity with the thuggish Iranian regime. I find it grimly amusing that anyone thinks this is All About the Epstein investigations, or anything but the widely-stated and repeated Drumpf notion that Might Makes Right, as he keeps trying to demonstrate in places such as Greenland, Cuba, and Venezuela, and that his advisors and he think this kind of thing is not only continuation of their policies in the past, but further demonstrating their hegemony in the world.

And if the Poors There lose a girls’ school and Here have to pay $7 a gallon for gasoline in the near future, not coincidentally making more money for Drumpf’s petrochemical holdings, “serves them right” for acting as if Drumpf shouldn’t be worshiped and obeyed. No doubt hoping he and his cabal can fashion further excuses to shut down the midterms, or at least impede them, as a consequence as well.

And he’s the permanent “chair” of the “BOP” till someone wheels his lifeless husk away…long after he leaves the White House, unless he succeeds with his future coup(s).

Deb, I’m always concerned when Trump takes some drastic action like starting a war with Iran (just to deflect questions about the Epstein Files) without any exit strategy. Trump claimed he was going to “stop Forever Wars”…but I think he just started one.

I really don’t see this as All About Epstein…trying to overthrow the thuggish Iranian regime is one of his dearly held goals. Drumpf is afraid of losing power in every way…and is solipsistic enough to grow annoyed by anyone questioning his stated view of reality. Yelling has gotten him this far, after all.

He also appears to think he can end any war quickly if only those pesky kids will get out of his way..

Todd, nobody is asking how much this Iranian War is going to cost. Already, we have dead servicemen. The daily costs of Trump’s Middle East Armada has to be astronomical!

      3. george Post author

Todd, Trump is playing with our money. Those planes lost over the Middle East cost $50 million each. Sure, the pilots ejected, but War is expensive.

Wag the dog won’t work this time. Partial regime change coming in November when we reclaim both houses. That should stop him in his tracks somewhat. Hope we can hold out that long.

Jackie, one of the political commentators claims “the key to the Senate is Texas.” The Democrats need to win there…finally!

I’m quite sure he doesn’t care, except to the degree that it makes, as he would almost certainly insist, Someone Else look bad. The armaments technicians or someone. I’m also sure he feels Zero negative responsibility for any distress he’s ever caused. Malginant narcissism.

Unfortunately, there’s still one untapped opportunity for him to prove his manhood, and that’s launching a nuclear warhead. I hope there’s a plan hidden in place to prevent that.
