LEGEND OF THE SEEKER

Based on Terry Goodkind’s fantasies, this TV series is produced by the same group who gave us Xena, Warrior Princess. It’s low-budget, B-movie entertainment. But a gritty hero, a beautiful Confessor, and a wacky wizard make the quest of the Seeker to overthrow the tyranny of evil Darken Rahl worth consulting your local television listings to find out when your cable company is showing it in your area. My favorite episode so far is #9, “The Puppeteer.” For more information, check out www.legendoftheseeker.com.

I’m with you on The Puppeteer as the best so far. I’m surprised I liked this series as I got tired of the novels early. That type of fantasy grows boring fast for me. I can’t remember the last time I lasted beyond the third book in a series. Nowadays I just give them all a pass.
Legend of The Seeker is just breezy enough(i.e. cut to the bone) to hold my interest. For now. We’ll see. Both Hercules and Xena went on to long for me and I stopped watching the last couple of years of each.

I agree that Xena went on too long. I’m hoping the writing stays strong on The Legend of the Seeker so audience fatigue doesn’t set in.
