Jeff, today is supposed to be the best day of the Memorial Day Weekend. It rained on Saturday. Yesterday it was 80 degrees. Today, it’s supposed to be 70 and sunny.
Rick, we’re facing three straight days of rain so Diane decided to mow the lawn. I put out the garbage and recycling for tomorrow’s pickup. I had a steak for dinner, Diane preferred a chicken patty. We had ice cream for dessert.
That says it all.
Dan, Diane and I will be visiting the cemetery where her mother’s grave is located. We have some pretty flowers for her.
As always, a big shout out to my sister, who served 25 years in the Air Force, and all our other active duty servicemen and veterans. Thank you!
Deb, like you, I appreciate the sacrifice of our servicemen and servicewomen in protecting our country. And I send a big Thank You to your sister!
Amen to that. We have our local Memorial Day Parade on Third Avenue here starting at 11 this morning.
