The well-rested 4-1 Buffalo Bills are 17-point favorites over the hapless 0-5 Miami Dolphins. The BYE WEEK refreshed the Bills and helped some of players with nagging injuries. Former Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has been named the starter for today but we may see Josh Rosen before the day is done. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?
I don’t even know who the Seahawks are playing, but I’m sure they’ll trouce them like the louts they are!
Bob, the Seahawks take on the Baltimore Ravens today.
Or not.
The 5-1 Saints journey to Chicago to take on the 3-2 Bears. The Saints have found ways to win without Injured QB Drew Brees, but most games have been nail-biters as back-up QB Teddy Bridgewater finds his footing. Now that there’s a lull in baseball (first game of the World Series is Tuesday), we’ll have uninterrupted football in our house!
Deb, the Bears have scoring issues so if the Saints can get ahead, they should cruise to victory!
The Giants need to beat the inconsistent Arizona Cardinals at home today. Amazingly, if they do they will be no more than one game behind in the mediocre NFC East, after the Jets won their first game over the hated Cowboys last week.
Jeff, I’m not sure the Cardinals travel well. This might be a big win for the Giants today.
The Ravens are a good team this year. The Seahawks will struggle, I can’t guess the outcome.
Heck of a baseball game last night!
I think I shared with everyone that one of my daughters was at Minute Maid Park last night—completely unexpectedly. She’d gone to Houston on Friday to see a concert and, when the Yankees won Friday’s game, the friend she as staying with (who lives in the Houston area) got them tickets for the Saturday game. So she stayed an extra day and saw Jose Altuve have one of the most dramatic home runs in post-season play.
Deb, watching History happen builds lasting memories!
Rick, Jeff Meyerson and I were hoping for a GAME SEVEN!
Same here. I hate Altuve.
Bob: What? Why?
The Seahawks were LOUSY. the game was even worse than I feared. Bah.
Baseball: rooting for the Nats.
Rick, we’re rooting for the Nets, too.
