NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS, PART 2: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS VS. DETROIT LIONS (3:30 P.M) and KANSAS CITY CHIEFS VS. BUFFALO BILLS (6:30 P.M.)

I’ll be rooting for the Detroit Lions to win this Divisional Playoff game over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Lions are favored by 6 points, but they might just win by more.

The Buffalo Bills have been stymied the past couple of years at the Divisional Playoff level, losing to KC in 2022 on the infamous 13 second debacle and losing to the Cincinnati Bengals last year. Will this be the year the Bills get over the hump and make it to the AFC Championship Game? My stomach is in knots already! Who do you think will win these games?

Like you, I’ll be rooting for the Lions and Bills, but today I have no confidence in making picks. Who knows which Bills and Chiefs teams will show up tonight? The Chiefs have not been close to what they were this year, but they still have Mahomes and are still a threat. But more importantly, will Taylor be there?

I was right about yesterday’s games, but San Francisco did not make it easy.

    Go, Bills! Go, Lions!

Lions and Chiefs, but I’ll have to defer to my grandson, the true expert, if he predicts a different outcome.

The Lions. They beat Tampa Bay earlier this year and Goff threw over 300 yards. The noise at Ford field will be deafining.

Once more we have to put up with Andy Reid’s mustache for another game or probably two. Niners almost joined you in this year’s also-rans. Hoping here they take the show all the way to (ugh) Vegas. Good luck to the Bills next year.
