NFL PLAYOFFS: CINCINNATI BENGALS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS (CBS) and SAN FRANCISCO 49ers VS. GREEN BAY PACKERS (Fox)

The Cincinnati Bengals take on the well rested Tennessee Titans. The Bengals are 5-point underdogs. A lot of people think the Bengals can pull off the upset…but I’m not one of them.

The frozen tundra of Lambeau Field welcomes the San Francisco 49ers who humiliated the Dallas Cowboys last week (heads will roll). The well rested Packers should handle the 49ers who are 6-point underdogs.

Who do you think will win these games?

What Todd said: George, it appears that your posts for the next few days were all posted today.

As for the games: I’d like to see the Bengals (featuring my future son-in-law, Joe Burrow) beat the Titans, but there’s no shame in a rebuilding team coming this far and then being stopped. Regarding the Green Bay game, I expect the Packers to win, but I’m so disappointed in the behavior of “covidiot” Aaron Rodgers, I’d like nothing better than to see the 49-ers put a beat-down on his team.

Deb, WORDPRESS has a mind of its own. The release of extra posts happens from time to time when WORDPRESS decides tormenting me with its spellchecker isn’t enough.

As a betting proposition I’d have to go with the home teams, both today and tomorrow. But I’d really like to see the visitors win all four games. Especially the 49ers.

Wow, posts galore! WOrdpress goes bonkers!

I think I’d have to go with the Titans too, but I am really, really hoping the Niners can pull off the upset. I really dislike Rodgers.

Jeff, WORDPRESS seems to dislike the fact that I work ahead on my posts. It punishes me by releasing some of them early. Very aggravating! And, don’t get me started on the demonic spellchecker!

You speak of WordPress as if it’s a thinking being, when it’s only a computer obeying its coding. I understand, it’s only a figure of speech, but still.

Go Titans and 49ers. Not that I’ll be watching, I gave up on football after the officiating got so bad. When a bad call can determine a game outcome, I quit.

Rick, WORDPRESS is a quirky program. Its spellcheck changes my words willy-nilly without asking. If I don’t happen to notice the change, then Deb or Todd or you end up telling me about the error. Maddening! And then there’s WORDPRESS’s capricious habit of posting my work-in-progress if it feels I’m working too far ahead. Grrrrrrrr! And Bah!
