NFL: WEEK TWO

sexy-cheerleader-2016
While you are watching your favorite NFL team, Diane and I will be flying to Orlando for the first leg of our return to Buffalo. BOUCHERCON was a blast, but there’s no place like home. The Bills are licking their wounds from Thursday Night Football and getting ready for next Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. How is your NFL team going to do today?

After a heart-breaking one-point loss to the Raiders last Sunday, the Saints journey to the Meadowlands to take on the Giants. I already have the feeling this is going to be a difficult season for the boys in black-and-gold–and it’s only the second game!

The Giants should win today? Will they? I guess we’ll see. If the Saints lose again the townmay go into mourning.

Great meeting you and John, Deb. We had a lot of fun.

We had such a fun time meeting everyone. It was great to finally see some of the people I’ve been “talking” with for almost a decade. Have a safe trip back home.

I assume that’s your pilot and that you are flying the very friendly skies, George.

I’m glad everyone had a great time in NOLA!

Don’t know, but they may beat Rams. We did a little yard work Friday, it rained all day yesterday (it was so nice to have a cool rainy day) and today Barbara will work on a quilt and I’ll read – maybe finish – a Wycliffe book.

George and Diane left a little while ago. Patrick is heading back to New Mexico. I think Art left this morning. Most everyone else is leaving later today or tomorrow, except us.

Seahawks ought to be the hapless Rams, but you never know! The Rams have been pesky competitors even when Seattle had a better team!

In their first game, the Saints’ defense didn’t show up; in yesterday’s game, the Saints’ offense didn’t show up. They just haven’t gelled as a team since the whole “Bountygate” nonsense of several seasons back. I think we may be witnessing Sean Payton’s final season as head coach. Few teams who start 0-2 go on to do much during the season.

Rick, at least the Seahawks won a game. The Bills may go winless for September. They play the Arizona Cardinals (Carson Palmer threw for 408 yards yesterday!) and then the New England Patriots.
