Nikita remains on the bubble about being renewed for next season. I’m a big fan of Maggie Q (even though the writing in this series could have been a lot better). The CW hasn’t decided whether there will be a Season Two. The plot about a rogue government agency opposed by a talented former agent resonates with me. The cast is solid. I hope this two-part Season Finale generates enough of an audience to tip the CW suits into renewing Nikita.
I saw the first episode and never got back to it. Not sure why because it was better than average.
“Better than average” is a good description of NIKITA, Patti. Maggie Q is very engaging and the rest of the cast is appealing. But the CW hasn’t decided whether to order a Second Season. I hope they do.

George, fear not…it’s not likely that the CW won’t renew this one. They’re losing two other series (SMALLVILLE and TOP MODEL, iirc), and this one isn’t Really on the bubble, by CW standards.

Very stylish shades. As for the rest, too skinny and the show never interested me. I’m surprised SMALLVILLE lasted this long. The first season was pretty good, then it began to slide.
Wjile you were all having fun today, I was outside in the rain digging holes and fixing broken sprinkler pipes, so when we have four days of sun in a row I can irrigate, since the plants here seemt o wilt if they have to go more than 2 days without water from heaven… Hoo boy.

And, sorry to give you pause, but anorexia on parade will be ongoing on the CW…they will continue to broadcast TOP MODEL…they just don’t want to double-run it in the new season.
I was conflating that with Banks quitting her chat show, which had become the CW’s main afternoon feed.
Tyra Banks is going to Harvard University, Todd. She doesn’t have time for a vacuous talk show. But, I do enjoy TOP MODEL. I know nothing about fashion and after three seasons of waiting TOP MODEL I still cannot figure the fashion world out.

I don’t think I’ve been a consistent viewer of anything on the CW since they canned their Sunday lineup.
The CW seems completely obsessed with youth-oriented programming like GOSSIP GIRL, 90210, and HELLCATS, Todd.
We’ve watched NIKITA all the way through and enjoyed it, but I’ve always thought she looks too frail to really be beating people up the way she does. Alex is a little more realistic, although still too skinny, as well. But it’s a decent series, and I hope it comes back.
I’m wondering where the series is headed, James. This two-hour Finale has me baffled.
